Down-Right Speed had a great weekend at the Regional Championships with several medals, personal and seasons bests.
At the Midland Championships Emma Bailey set a SB of 11.80 to win the 100m only 0.02 outside her PB. At the same event Kylie Russell ran a new PB of 24.85 in the 200m and a seasons best of 12.13 in the 100m to finish 4th in the final. On the men’s side Luke Stott ran a new PB of 22.15 in the men’s 200m and Paul Judson won a silver medal in a new SB of 21.55. Simon Wombwell also did well to avoid the barriers and secure a silver in the men’s 110m Hurdles.
Up North Gemma Werrett won the Scottish Outdoor Championships in a new meeting record of 13.69s to go along with her indoor title and record! Meanwhile at the opposite end of the country Brad Williams ran well into a -1.0 headwind to win the Welsh Champs in 10.92s a new SB.
