Down-Right Dominate at BUSA Outdoor 2007

Down-Right Speed once again dominated at the BUSA Outdoor Championships bringing home a total of 10 medals between them.

In the Men’s 100mm Brad William’s ran a PB of 11.09 but missed out on the final, while team mate Will Green did well to reach the semi-final. The men's 200m saw Paul Judson achieve a new PB of 21.37 to collect the silver medal ahead of Loughborough Team Mate Seyi Smith. The race video is availible on YouTube.



In the Women’s 100m, Emma Bailey looked easy in the Heats and Semis but was dissapointed by her time in the final, despite picking up her first of 3 bronze medals! Here second came in the women's 200m where she achieved an outdoor PB in the process. Meanwhile, Natalie Jowett did well to reach the final of both the 100m and 200m.

In the Women's 100m Hurdles Gemma Werrett ran a fantastic 14.17s to win Silver behind fellow Loughborough athlete Andria Vinet. Gemma's run saw an improvement this season of over 1 second from her previous PB!

Down-Right dominated in the relays as well. Emma, Natalie and Gemma did thier part to bring home the Bronze for Loughborough, while in the men's race Brad, Will and Paul did well to help Loughborough come second behind a strong Bath Team.
